My logo was created one night while my parents and I were sitting around our kitchen table. We were just doodling and really had no intention of creating a “Logo” but before long the doodling turned into patterns and shapes that had significant meaning and represented very special things in my life: You can learn a lot about me from my logo.
The first thing that I hope you recognize is the Ichthys symbol* that is formed at the beginning over the “A”. This Christian fish symbol represents the most important part of who I am. I think its kinda neat that this forms the beginning of the logo, just as Christ is the Alpha and Omega or the beginning and the end. The star dotting the “i” represents Jesus Christ, who is the star of my life and the light of the world. And lastly, the heart dangling at the end is in memory of my Granddaddy who passed away when I was 9 years old. He told me EVERYDAY that I was in his heart and now he is in mine. I wrote “Here in My Heart” for him when I was 12 and it is the song on the project that means the most to me. If you look, you will see that the wings of the Ichthys connect two very important people that have greatly influenced my life. I cannot physically see or touch them (for now) but they are in every beat of my heart.
Why Country Music you might ask….
Well, although I can’t explain why, I believe that God gave me the gift to sing country music for a reason. I love to sing Christian and gospel music but it is more personal to me and I do not enjoy performing to Christian music. God needs people to represent Him in every walk of life….even singing country music.
